I’m intensely passionate about digital sculpture. If I had my way, I’d spend my working days behind ZBrush, my weapon of choice.
I enjoy drawing, of course, and through my endless sketching and reference photography, and simple observation, I study the world around me. I love to witness it through hiking, snowboarding, and just getting outside whenever I can. And when I come back inside, I love to challenge myself to recreate that world, and twist it a little.
I have a particular interest in animals. I always have. I’m fascinated by the anatomy, the order and structure of it, the endless depth and complexity, and the perfect interconnectedness of it all, even in the ugliest and most alien of creatures.
I want to be the best artist I can be through constant study, research, order, knowledge, skill, and sensitivity, and through all that I learn from other artists. And it is always my goal that the world enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy creating them.
